25 Management Staff The Management Staff provides all the administrative support required by the Federal Chancellor and both Vice Chancellors. It is also responsible for address- ing the Federal Chancellery’s security concerns and for conducting all preparatory work to cope with extraordinary situations. In addition, the Management Staff is in charge of risk and operational safety management for the Federal Chancellery and serves as the coordination office for all departments for the use of security infrastructure. 14:00 The Management Board of the Federal Chan- cellery has coordinated appointments for the following week. The Federal Chancellor will meet with the head of the Planning and Strategy Section. He is the author of the Federal Council’s legislative programme. The Fed- eral Chancellor will have to present this four-year gov- ernment programme to parliament next week. 19:30 Federal Chancellor Corina Casanova is on her way to the Political Forum at the Käfigturm. She will give a short speech to mark the opening of the ‘Swiss Press Photo Award’ exhibition. A pleasant end to what has been a long day. Federal Data Protection and Informa- tion Commissioner (FDPIC) The Federal Data Protection and Information Com- missioner (FDPIC) has two areas of responsibility: the Federal Act on Data Protection (DPA) and the Federal Act on Freedom of Information in the Administration (Freedom of Information Act, FoIA).
